This is a prayer I discovered in my twenties when I became very ill, and mainstream medicine failed to help me. It is the companion prayer to the "Our Father" prayer that was left out of our history. I healed myself with fasting, food and prayer. I feel I had what I call a bio-spiritual awakening as I learned that loving myself was expressed through taking care of by body and connecting with the Divine Feminine through the heart. To express and share that energy IS my work as an artist. I also found live music at a time when Toronto was going through a cultural renaissance in the late 1980s and harnessed the power of live beautiful music to heal me as well. People often speak of "ascension" but I believe it's a process of "inscension". The journey continues today as I learn that to bring more light into the body AND my art, is to help bring heaven on earth. May you always be connected to your heart where Love connects us to oneself, to each other and to all of Divine creation.

I have been working as an artist for 38 years. I have sold to shops and galleries across Canada, including the McMichael Gallery and Gallery Of Ontario Gift Shops. I have made lines of Jewellery for The Rooms Museum in Newfoundland and The Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa. I have shown at high quality Art & Craft Shows across Canada. These days I am concentrating on making mostly one of a kind pieces, so checkout my one of a kind section that will be up shortly and check back often as I add more pieces every week. I am also a percussionist and have played at venues all over the city of Toronto. My late mentors ( RIP) were Jazz legends of the Toronto jazz music scene, as they founded the jazz scene at Toronto Music hot spot , The Rex Hotel. I had the honour of producing two Cds for saxophonist Jim Heineman, one of which nominated for best jazz song in the world for the International Music Awards in 2012. I was a featured percussionist on Hammond B3 organ player John T. Davis' last recording in 2017. You can see a movie trailer for a movie produced about these two legends called Brothers In Music, that was shown all over the world at music festivals at the time. My Event space in the city is called "Fatima In The Alley Music & Art Gallery" and I feature some of the best musical talent in Canada, with soul stirring live music!
